Poland, born 1974
She graduated with honors from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Gdynia, specializing in Applied Forms. She then pursued a master's degree in graphic art at the Graphics faculty at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Her areas of expertise include graphic design, illustration, painting, and education.
For many years, she collaborated with the Mac Edukacja publishing house. Since 2008, she has been running her art studio for children and teenagers in Mława. She is also a member of the "Fuzja wyobraźni" group of artists.
Her artistic inspirations include the culture of the 18th and 19th centuries, neo-Gothic architecture, and literature by Edgar Allan Poe, as well as paintings by William Blake, Francisco Goya, Caspar David Friedrich, and John Atkinson Grimshaw.
She is passionate about creating art that reflects dreams, isolated places, and moments where time seems to stand still. Her paintings often depict a world that blurs the lines between reality and dream, with a dark and mysterious atmosphere.
The artist prefers not to title her works, as she wants viewers to use their imagination and be transported into the world of the painting. Her art often reflects a mix of reality and magic, with themes of symbols, superstitions, prophecies, and the lives of women considered outsiders by society.
She draws inspiration from Nordic and Celtic mythology, as well as the cultures of the Baltic countries, and music.
